Peanut Butter Almond Bars

I love homemade oatmeal bars! and since I started making my own Homemade Almond Milk I wanted to find a way to use the leftover almonds.

If you aren’t using leftover almonds from your homemade almond milk put your almonds in a blender or food processor with a few tablespoons of milk and blend until chopped very finely.

Ingredients
  1. 2 cups quick oats
  2. 1 cup finely chopped almonds (I use my leftover almond milk almond pieces)
  3. 1 cup peanut butter
  4. 1/3 cup honey
Instructions
  1. Prepare and 8x8 pan with parchment paper for easier removal.
  2. Place all ingredients in a bowl and microwave it for 1-2 minute until the peanut butter is slightly melted. Stir together until mixed well.
  3. Press into the prepared pan using a spoon or your hands to level it.
  4. Put in the fridge for a few hours or the freezer for 45 minutes to help firm
  5. Will keep at room temperature for several days.

  1. I made these last night for breakfast mornings this week.
They are a wonderful breakfast bar. The oats and almonds are filling
with just a little sweetness from the honey and the peanut butter. Yummy!
    Thank you for the share.

    • So glad you enjoyed them!!
